If you're not ready to use Green Lightning as your full N application, consider adding it to your program. A grower in Eastern Washington simply added 20 gallons of Green Lightning to their regular program and saw a 4.23 bushel increase in yield in comparison to the field that had no Green Lightning added. The cost of electricity is about $0.10/kWh in their area and their machine takes 1,100 watts per hour, meaning it cost them $0.11 per hour to run their unit, and their machine style makes 6.25 gallons of product per hour, so in 4 hours that's about 25 gallons of product, which means less than $0.44 in electricity yielded an additional 4.23 bushels per acre.
