WHERE TO KEEP YOUR MACHINE

A common question we receive is where the location of the machine should be on the farm. This is obviously the customer’s choice, but here are some recommendations from us.

In the regions where low temperatures are expected during the cold months, like Canada, the Midwest, Mountain West or any northern area, we recommend keeping the machine in an insulated building. The pipes and filter on the machine, as well as the IBC tote are subject to cracking if left in freezing temperatures.

If the building you intend to keep the machine in is on the smaller side, we suggest threading a 1/4-inch male threaded fitting to the brass 1/4-inch female bulkhead fitting (that is the air inlet for the compressor), then running it a pipe outside to keep fresh air circulating into the machine (if you are planning on closing ventilation in the building to keep temperature up).

If you are in a warmer climate like the Southwest, Southeast, or an Equatorial country, ventilation and fresh air is key, and keep the machine out of the sun and any weather for optimal longevity.

Plan on setting the machine on to a flat surface. Be sure to have access to a water source, electricity, and storage tanks.

The machine is 42"W × 48"D × 80"H. And takes plugs into a 110-V outlet. Well water and City water both work well for the machine to produce product- cleaner water is best for avoiding filter maintenance, but be sure to avoid reverse osmosis water as it tends to have too low if a mineral content which doesn’t allow the N molecules to bond with anything.

“To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

Ecclesiastes 2:26
